Kelloggsville Bands

Kelloggsville Bands Mission Statement: To use music education to foster creativity and to teach a lifelong skill, teamwork, accountability, and other traits needed in compassionate, productive, and creative young people moving into adulthood.

Kelloggsville Bands comprises the 6-8th grade bands, Rocket Marching Band, and Kelloggsville High School Symphonic Band. These bands meet during regular class time, with the Rocket Marching Band meeting during the summer for rehearsals & band camp and practicing during the football season on Monday nights.

Kelloggsville Band Boosters

The Band Boosters meet the 2nd Tuesday of every month (September through May) 7:00 p.m. at the High School Band Room. This group meets to discuss the details of what is going on with the band program, the concession stands (the Band Boosters run all of the concession stands in the district), and anything else related to the band students.

High School Winter Concert

6:30pm- Call Time KHS Band room 7:00pm-Concert start time Uniform change this year! As stated in class, concert black is the attire moving forward. Black shoes(marching shoes still count as good), black pants(or skirt below the knees while sitting down), black shirt (button up preferred but polo or nice sweater works). All black must be solid. No designs/logos/stripes/etc. No athletic wear of any kind (joggers, leggings, sweatshirts, tshirts, etc).

Middle School Winter Concert

6th grade report time is 6:15pm 7th grade report time is 6:25pm 8th grade report time is 6:35pm All band students must wear all black shoes, all black socks and all black pants. For a top, it must be an all white top. Please no logos or designs on any of the clothing items. Plain black and plain white. You do not have to buy anything fancy. We just ask that the students not wear pajama pants, leggings, joggers/sweat pants or other athletic style pants, T-shirts or hoodies.

Wyoming Santa Parade

8:00am Report to KHS 8:50am Leave KHS 9:00am Parade starts(not known at this time where we are in the lineup) 11:10am Approximate return to KHS Uniform bibs and top and marching shoes. Everything else is to be fun/Christmas and staying warm related as you choose. No Santas! Parade route is on Division between 33rd and 43rd streets.
