Beth A. Taylor-- KVS Director
Beth serves as the Director of the Kelloggsville Virtual School. She has a Bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and a Masters in Educational Leadership from Grand Valley State University. Beth was a middle school teacher for 15 years and has held several leadership positions including; Assistant Principal of Kelloggsville Middle School, Principal at East Elementary and Kelloggsville Middle School before taking on the role of creating a virtual school option for the Kelloggsville Community. Beth leads the Virtual Sign Language Club and enjoys the challenge of creating a new learning opportunity for students. She enjoys spending time outdoors at the lake with her husband, children, and grandson.

Jenny Kovacs--Lower Elementary Teacher
Jenny Kovacs is the K-2 teacher for KVS. Working from her classroom at KECLC, she develops and teaches both synchronous and asynchronous lessons for her young learners and also meets with students during in-person learning sessions. She absolutely loves teaching both virtually and in-person. With over twenty years of teaching experience in the Grand Rapids area, she studied at Grand Valley State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education/Group Science followed by a Master of Education in Reading. She is excited to help students become better readers and writers, mathematicians, scientists, problem solvers, and thinkers.

Luke Ferrell--Upper Elementary Teacher
Luke Ferrell is the 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade teacher here at KVS. He has been at Kelloggsville Public Schools since 2018 and taught at Southeast and East before joining KVS. He also taught early childhood with the Great Start Readiness Program as a lead teacher for 2 years. Luke studied at the University of Toledo and has a degree in Early Childhood Education. He is interested in technology and computers and enjoys exploring the potential of new technology when applied to education. He loves reading and enjoys in-depth comprehension discussions around a text with students. He is married with two young children at home and enjoys spending time with his family.
